An arena two blocks from Newark Penn Station, with Military Park and NJPAC a short walk north and the Portuguese, Brazilian and Spanish restaurants of the Ironbound on the other side of the station.

Most Devils home games start at 7 or 7:30 p.m. Eastern, many of them on weeknights. A few start between noon and 6 p.m., mostly on Saturdays and Sundays, so check your game’s start time. Bags

For Devils games, the team’s bag policy, updated in 2022–23, allows bags up to 12 × 14 inches. Larger bags and backpacks aren’t allowed, except medical and childcare bags. At the doors, bags larger than 4 × 6 × 1.5 inches are X-rayed, and the entry policy bans backpacks of any kind, large duffel bags, coolers and hard-sided bags. The A-Z guide’s older line that bags aren’t permitted at this time predates the Devils’ policy. Lockers outside the M&M’s Tower and the Lafayette Lobby cost $8–$10.

Doors and warm-ups

Doors open about 60–90 minutes before the event; check your game’s page on prucenter.com. At Devils regular-season games, any ticket holder can watch warm-ups from the time doors open until about 20 minutes before puck drop. There’s no re-entry during events, apart from exceptions such as a medical need, arranged with a Guest Services supervisor.

Concession stands, retail locations and the box office take no cash; reverse ATMs by Sections 1, 14 and 125 and in the Box Office Lobby turn cash into a card with no fee. Devils tickets live in the NJ Devils + Prudential Center app. The Devils suggest opening your tickets at least 24 hours ahead and sending each guest their own.

AirTrain Newark links the terminals with the airport’s Rail Link Station, and the Port Authority says the current AirTrain keeps running while its replacement is built. Yes. The arena says it’s two blocks from Newark Penn Station, and NJ Transit times the walk at 10 minutes. PATH, NJ Transit trains and the Newark Light Rail all stop at the station.

Can I bring a bag?
