Pregame at Bucs Beach and the Bucsparilla invasion

The Bucs’ free pregame party in the stadium’s South Plaza: sand, shaded lounges, five pop-up bars, a live DJ, games and cheerleader appearances. The pirate ship sails down Tampa Bay Boulevard for the Bucsparilla invasion before the gates open. The free Bucs Kids Zone is in Lot 6D, just south.

Only a clutch-size bag (4.5 × 6.5 inches) is allowed into the stadium, so leave other bags in the car or rent a locker on Tom McEwen Boulevard.

Getting back: Police direct traffic out by lot: Lot A exits north onto Dale Mabry, Lots B and C onto Himes Avenue, Lot D onto Tom McEwen Boulevard, and the HCC lots onto Tampa Bay Boulevard. Sold-out games take time to clear.

Lots take credit cards only for day-of parking, you can’t save spaces, and overnight parking is prohibited. The parking page lists no prices and says spots are limited and prices may change, so buy early.

No-bag policy — Buccaneers

The only bag allowed is one clutch no larger than 4.5 × 6.5 inches, and it doesn’t have to be clear. Larger bags aren’t allowed even if they’re clear. Lockers for rent are on Tom McEwen Boulevard, south of the Suzuki Marine Gate. Also banned: coolers, fanny packs, camera bags, umbrellas, strollers, seat cushions, aerosol sunscreen and outside food or drink.

Mobile tickets are scanned at the gates, and every Buccaneers fan needs a ticket regardless of age. Re-entry isn’t allowed except in a medical emergency. Concessions and merchandise are cashless, and alcohol sales at concourse stands stop at the start of the fourth quarter.

Lots open 3.5 hours before kickoff and take cards only. Tailgate only behind your own car within one 10 × 24-foot space. Tents over 10 × 10 feet need prior approval, kegs and loud amplified sound aren’t allowed, and tailgating must stop at kickoff. Buses and campers over 24 feet park in Lot 14 for Bucs games. No overnight parking.
