An arena two blocks from Newark Penn Station, with Military Park and NJPAC a short walk north and the Portuguese, Brazilian and Spanish restaurants of the Ironbound on the other side of the station.

The entry policy says bags larger than 4 × 6 × 1.5 inches may be X-rayed, and bans backpacks of any kind, large duffel bags, coolers and hard-sided bags; parenting and medically necessary bags may be exempt from the size rule but are X-rayed. The A-Z guide’s security section says bags aren’t permitted at this time, except for medical and childcare needs. Carry as little as you can, or call (973) 757-6000. Lockers outside the M&M’s Tower and the Lafayette Lobby cost $8–$10.

Doors open about 60–90 minutes before the event; check your game’s page on prucenter.com. At Devils regular-season games, any ticket holder can watch warm-ups from the time doors open until about 20 minutes before puck drop. There’s no re-entry during events, apart from exceptions such as a medical need, arranged with a Guest Services supervisor.

Concession stands, retail locations and the box office take no cash; reverse ATMs by Sections 1, 14 and 125 and in the Box Office Lobby turn cash into a card with no fee.
