Most Magic home games fall on weeknights and start in the evening, so plan for a game night first; a few start in the afternoon or early evening, so check your game’s tip-off time. Doors generally open one hour before the event time on your ticket. For a weekend trip, Lake Eola Park, the Sunday farmers market there and the Orlando Museum of Art fill the day before.

A boutique hotel in a restored 1920s building where Thornton Park meets Lake Eola, with Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company downstairs and, it says, more than 30 restaurants, cafés and coffee shops within walking distance.

There’s no train, rideshare or parking to plan on a game night: you walk. Kres is on Church Street, the arena’s street, and The Stubborn Mule is by the hotel for a weekend brunch.

Getting there
Board the LYMMO Grapefruit Line (Link 62), which runs from Lake Eola to Kia Center and Parramore. Buses run every 16–20 minutes on weekday evenings, 15 minutes on Saturdays and 30 minutes on Sundays.
Getting back
The Grapefruit Line normally stops at 8:25 p.m., before most games end, so plan to walk back.

LYNX says hours may be extended for special events, but no Magic game-night service is published. LYMMO is free to ride.

On a weekday, take a southbound train from Winter Park/Amtrak station to Church Street. The 6:06 p.m. train reaches Church Street at 6:21 p.m.; check it against your game’s tip-off time.
Getting back
The last northbound train leaves Church Street at 10:32 p.m. and reaches Winter Park at 10:46 p.m. If the game runs late, take a rideshare instead.

SunRail runs Monday to Friday only and not on some holidays, including Christmas Day. A one-way ticket within one county is $2; children 6 and under ride free with a paying adult, up to three per adult. SunRail asks you to arrive 20 minutes early.

Accessible drop-off and parking

Accessible drop-off and pickup is at Division Avenue and Church Street. The ThreatLocker Garage, next to the arena, has accessible parking, elevators to every floor and a fifth-floor bridge to the arena’s Terrace Level. Free wheelchair escorts are requested from staff once you’re inside; advance requests aren’t taken. Assistive listening devices are loaned at Guest Assistance against a photo ID, and sensory bags are free at guest services. For other help, call 407.440.7900.

Can I bring a bag to a Magic game?

Only a small clutch up to 4.5 × 6.5 × 1 inches. Medical and parent bags up to 14 × 14 × 6 inches are allowed after X-ray screening. Strollers aren’t allowed at Magic games.

Can I leave the arena and come back in?

No. Kia Center has a no re-entry policy, and the ThreatLocker Garage doesn’t allow re-entry either.

Can I ride SunRail to a Magic game?

On a weeknight, yes: SunRail stops at Church Street, and the last northbound train leaves at 10:32 p.m. SunRail doesn’t run on weekends, so for a Saturday or Sunday game, walk, drive or take a rideshare.
