A downtown arena on Biscayne Boulevard, with Bayfront Park and Bayside Marketplace to the south, the art and science museums of Maurice A. Ferré Park to the north, and Brickell’s towers a short ride away.

Most Heat home games tip off between 6 and 8 p.m. Eastern, and most fall on weeknights, so plan for a game night first; a few weekend games start in the afternoon, so check your game’s time. Doors generally open an hour before the printed start time. The free Metromover currently stops at 10 p.m., so plan to walk or take a rideshare back after an evening game. Doors generally open one hour before the printed start time, and the ticket office opens 3 hours before tip-off on Heat game days. Tickets are mobile only, in the Miami HEAT or Ticketmaster app or your phone’s wallet; screenshots and printouts aren’t accepted. There’s no re-entry without an unused ticket.

Kaseya Center takes cards and mobile payments only, including for parking. Cash-to-card kiosks, with no fee, are next to the box office, at Sections 109, 121 and 318, and inside Gate 1A by the Miami HEAT Store.

Several lots next to the arena have closed for good, and the arena points you to flat-rate lots within walking distance. A limited number of P2 Garage passes go on sale online for each game; parking passes are digital, in the HEAT app. The arena publishes no prices. Rideshare drop-off is at Bayshore Drive and HEAT Boulevard (Gate 6); bus, taxi and accessible drop-off is at Gate 3 on NE 8th Street.

Metromover is free and runs 5:30 a.m.–10 p.m. daily; the arena’s stop is Park West Station on the Omni Loop. The county says Metromover hours may be extended for special events. The arena’s directions page says Metrorail runs 5 a.m.–midnight, connects at Government Center, and may run until 1 a.m. after special events at Kaseya Center.

Can I take the Metromover to a Heat game?

Yes, on the way in. It’s free: take the Omni Loop to Park West Station and walk east to Biscayne Boulevard. Metromover stops at 10 p.m., so plan to walk or take a rideshare back if your game ends later.

Is there parking at Kaseya Center?

A limited number of P2 Garage passes go on sale online for each game. Lots next to the arena have closed, so the arena suggests flat-rate lots within walking distance. It publishes no prices, and parking is cashless.

Do kids need a ticket?

Everyone 2 and older needs a ticket. Children under 2 get in free on a parent’s or guardian’s lap; bring a birth certificate or passport as proof of age.

Is Kaseya Center the old American Airlines Arena?

Yes. The arena at 601 Biscayne Boulevard opened as American Airlines Arena in 1999, became FTX Arena in 2021 and Miami-Dade Arena in early 2023, and took the Kaseya Center name in 2023.
