A downtown hotel above the river valley, open since 1915, with Confederation Lounge on site and pets welcome. The Harvest Room is closed for renovations and relaunching in fall 2026.
It’s a ride or a longer walk to the arena. Parking costs extra, and breakfast comes only with some offers and room types.
Getting to the game
Take a rideshare to the drop-off locations the arena maps, or ride the Metro Line to MacEwan station, by the arena’s north side.
Getting back
Take a taxi from the stand on the west side of 104 Street, south of 104 Avenue, request a rideshare from a pickup location on the arena’s map, or ride the LRT back.
Walk from the JW Marriott, which the ICE District says is connected to Rogers Place, or cross ICE District Plaza, west of the hotel, to the entrance doors at the foot of Ford Hall. Ford Hall and the North Gates open one hour before puck drop.
Getting back
Walk back through the plaza or the hotel’s connection with the crowd.
Rogers Place uses Evolv Express security screening, and bags must be smaller than 12 × 12 × 6 inches. There’s no re-entry once you’re inside.

Getting there
Set your drop-off at one of the general drop-off locations on the arena’s map. In cold weather, the downtown pedway reaches the arena through Ford Hall by the overpasses from Edmonton Tower and Stantec Tower.
Getting back
After the game, taxis line up on the west side of 104 Street, south of 104 Avenue; Yellow Cab is the arena’s preferred provider. Rideshare pickups use the locations on the arena’s map.
The arena publishes no pickup times or fares, and rideshare prices after the game are set by the app.
From downtown on the Metro LineDowntown and the river valleytransit
Getting there
Ride the Metro Line to MacEwan station, where the arena has bike racks by its north side. Metro Line trains run between NAIT/Blatchford Market and Health Sciences/Jubilee, with stops including Churchill, Central and Bay/Enterprise Square.
Getting back
Ride the Metro Line back from MacEwan. Metro Line trains run every 15 minutes in the evening and all day on weekends.
The arena says more than 40 bus routes and 5 LRT stations are within walking distance but doesn’t name them all. Check last trains in the ETS trip planner for your date; five late-night Owl bus routes run until about 3 a.m.
