Mass Ave / Bottleworks DistrictFood and a night out

Stay among Mass Ave’s restaurants and bars, northeast of downtown.

To the stadium: Book a rideshare to northbound Illinois Street, one block east of the stadium, and walk to your gate.
After the game: Walk out of the stadium’s geofenced area to Illinois Street before you request a ride.
The tradeoff: It’s a longer trip to the stadium than from the downtown hotels, and the one hotel listed charges for valet parking.

Broad RippleA quieter base with its own bars

Stay in a small north-side neighborhood by the Monon Trail and ride the Red Line into downtown.

To the stadium: Board the Red Line at the Broad Ripple station heading south, ride to the downtown stations (Statehouse or the Transit Center) and walk to your gate.
After the game: Walk back to a downtown Red Line station and ride north. Northbound buses don’t stop at Statehouse; use Vermont or the Transit Center.
The tradeoff: It’s about 7 miles north of downtown by map, and the one hotel listed has 20 rooms.

IND airport areaFly-in fans with a car

A practical base near Indianapolis International Airport for a short trip or a late flight.

To the stadium: Drive to a downtown lot or garage you’ve booked (the Colts point to ParkWhiz), then walk to your gate.

Getting there: Board IndyGo’s Red Line (Route 90) southbound at the Broad Ripple station and ride to the downtown stations at Statehouse or the Transit Center, then walk to your gate. Buses run every 15–20 minutes; Sunday service is 7 a.m.–10 p.m.
Getting back: Walk back to a downtown Red Line station and ride north. Northbound buses currently skip Statehouse; IndyGo says to use Vermont or the Transit Center.

IndyGo doesn’t publish a stadium stop or extra game-day service. Check rider alerts before you travel, and plan a backup ride if a game runs late on a Sunday.

Getting there: Drive downtown and park in a lot or garage you’ve booked; the Colts point to ParkWhiz and list the common game-day lots. Allow time: the Colts recommend arriving downtown at least three hours before kickoff.

The Colts don’t operate the lots around the stadium, and tailgating is up to each lot operator. Check your lot’s rules before you bring a setup.
