Getting there: Set your drop-off on Merrimac Street, where rideshare pickups and drop-offs are located from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
Getting back: Walk to Merrimac Street and meet your driver there.

Bags, including clear bags, can’t be larger than 6 × 4 × 1.5 inches; small bags, clutches, crossbodies and wristlets are fine. Larger bags go to the Event Bag Check for $15, which opens two hours before the event and stays open until one hour after.

Doors, tickets and re-entry

Member doors open two hours before game time. TD Garden’s A–Z guide says general doors open one hour before, and its Know Before You Go page says 90 minutes, so check your event page. Every event is mobile ticket only, and there’s no re-entry once you leave.

TD Garden takes cards and phones only. Cash-to-card kiosks on Levels 4 and 7 and outside the Level 5 Ford SportsDeck turn cash into a prepaid card with no fee.

The last trains

Most MBTA bus and train service ends around 1 a.m., and Boston has no late-night or overnight train service. North Station is on the Green and Orange Lines and is a Commuter Rail terminal for routes north of Boston. The subway fare is $2.40.

From Logan Airport by train

Take the Blue Line inbound for 4 stops to Government Center, then the Green Line eastbound for 2 stops to North Station.

The MBTA Harbor Loop Ferry links Logan with Lovejoy Wharf by North Station, Central Wharf and the Seaport. The fare is $2.40, and children 11 and under ride free. At the airport, take the free Route 66 shuttle to the Water Transportation Dock.

The North Station Garage is open 24 hours: $60 booked ahead, $65 on an event day or $70 on a game day when you enter within 4 hours of the start. The maximum vehicle height is 6 ft 8 in.

Useful things to know

When do doors open at TD Garden?

Member doors open two hours before game time. TD Garden’s pages give one hour and 90 minutes for general doors, so check your event page or call 617-624-1300.

Can I take the T home after the game?

Often, yes: the Green and Orange Lines stop at North Station, at the arena. Most service ends around 1 a.m. and there’s no late-night train service, so plan a rideshare from Merrimac Street for a late finish.

Do kids need a ticket?

Everyone two and older needs a ticket. A child under two gets in free on an adult’s lap. Strollers are checked at Guest Services on Level 4.

Is TD Garden the same arena as the FleetCenter?

Yes. The arena opened in 1995 as the FleetCenter, was TD Banknorth Garden from 2005 and has been TD Garden since 2009.
