Getting there
The arena says to plan for about 40 minutes via I-5 from the airport without major traffic delays. Pre-purchase parking in the Kraken + CPA app for the Arena Garage, the 1st Ave N Garage or Seattle Center’s 5th Ave Garage.
Getting back
Walk back to your garage and drive south on I-5.

The arena’s site doesn’t publish event-night parking prices; they show in the app when you buy. On non-event days the arena garages charge from $7 an hour plus tax.

One bag up to 14 × 14 × 6 inches, clear or not, or one small clutch up to 4 × 6 × 1.5 inches. Every bag larger than a clutch, including diaper and medical bags, goes through X-ray screening at the bag lines. Empty reusable bottles up to 32 oz, not glass, are allowed.

For Kraken games, doors open 90 minutes before puck drop, and there’s no re-entry. The arena is cashless: major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted, and a reverse ATM by Section 04 on the Main Concourse turns cash into a Visa card.

Every ticket to a publicly ticketed event comes with a free King County transit pass in the Kraken + CPA app. It’s valid from two hours before doors open until two hours after the event, and it works on the Seattle Center Monorail.

The Monorail on game nights

The Monorail runs between Westlake Center and Seattle Center about every 10 minutes. From Sept. 7, 2026 to May 27, 2027 it closes at 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but on arena event nights it stays open one hour after the event’s expected end. The adult fare is $4 one way, and the machines take no cash.

Pre-purchase event parking in the Kraken + CPA app for the Arena Garage, the 1st Ave N Garage or the 5th Ave Garage. Rideshare drivers can’t drop off on 1st Ave N before events: drop-offs are at Republican St and Warren Ave N, the MoPOP turnaround, McCaw Hall on Mercer St and Pacific Science Center on Denny Way. For 45 minutes after the event they can’t pick up on 1st Ave N, and the pickup points are MoPOP and the Space Needle on Broad St.
