To the stadium: Walk to the nearest downtown T station and ride to North Side or Allegheny station. Rides inside the free fare zone need no ticket.
After the game: Ride the T back from North Side or Allegheny, or walk back over a bridge. Check Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s schedule for late trains.
The tradeoff: It’s a separate trip to the stadium, by light rail or on foot over a bridge.

Strip DistrictFood and a lively neighborhood

Stay among the markets, food stalls and breweries just east of Downtown.

To the stadium: Walk into Downtown to Steel Plaza or Wood Street station and ride the T to North Side or Allegheny station.
After the game: Ride the T back to Downtown and walk back to your hotel.
The tradeoff: The Strip has no T station; you walk into Downtown to reach one.

Stay beside Pittsburgh International Airport if you fly in late or leave early.

To the stadium: Drive to the lot or garage you’ve pre-bought, using the stadium’s lot-specific directions, or ride the 28X to Downtown and change to the T.
After the game: Walk back to your lot and leave by the route that suits your direction of travel, or ride the T and the 28X back.
The tradeoff: The airport is well outside the city; every trip to the stadium is a long one.

From the North ShoreNorth Shorewalk

Getting there: Walk from your hotel to the gate on your ticket: Gate A East or West, Gate B, Gate C or the FedEx Great Hall gates. All gates open two hours before kickoff.
Getting back: Walk back to your hotel. There’s no re-entry, so leave only when you’re done.

Bicycles aren’t allowed on the stadium campus on game days. ADA drop-off points are at Art Rooney Avenue and Reedsdale Street, and on North Shore Drive, across from the Kamin Science Center.

From Downtown on the TDowntowntransit

Getting there: Walk to Gateway, Wood Street or Steel Plaza station and ride the T to North Side station (under the West General Robinson Street Garage) or Allegheny station (Allegheny Avenue and Reedsdale Street). Rides between First Avenue and Allegheny are free.
Getting back: Ride back from North Side or Allegheny station to your Downtown stop. The stadium’s parking guide also says Downtown is a short walk from the stadium if you’d rather cross a bridge on foot.

Leave the free zone and you pay a fare. The guide doesn’t list game-day train frequency or last trains; check Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s rail schedule for your game.

Getting there: North Shore parking is reserved and pre-sold, so buy a spot before game day. The stadium’s route from the airport is I-376 East, which becomes I-279 North, then exit 1B toward the North Shore; on event days it suggests alternate routes to avoid exit 1B.
Getting back: Walk back to your lot. The stadium’s parking guide suggests choosing a lot near your exit route; for the airport that means heading west toward the West End Bridge and I-376.

Tailgating isn’t allowed in garages, including the Champions Garage. Alco allows moderate tailgating in surface lots and directs every car to a space.

Getting there: Take the 28X Airport Flyer from outside Door 9 on the airport’s ground level to Downtown, then walk to a T station and ride free to North Side or Allegheny.
Getting back: Ride the T back to Downtown and take the 28X to the airport.

The airport says 28X buses leave about every 30 minutes. Cash fares need exact change and cards aren’t taken on board; the ticket machine near Door 8 takes cards. Check the last 28X before a night game.
